This wedding day was a day of pure joy and utter beauty in equal measure.
Hannah and Elliott have obviously surrounded themselves with very talented people. You may remember Hannah’s amazing outfit from Hannah and Elliott’s engagement shoot that she made herself. Well, setting herself a much bigger challenge, she decided to make the bridesmaid dresses for the wedding and wow, they were show stoppers. They were a gorgeous shimmery pinky-burgundy velvet that changed with the light and matched the beautiful bouquets by Kendalls Florist perfectly. You could tell that Alice & Eleanor felt amazing all day as they glided round the wedding!
Of course, they were only outdone by how incredible Hannah looked in her double layer lace dress and Hannah in his double breasted suit.
Not stopping there, Elliott’s grandma had handbag a shoe bag for Hannah’s wedding shoes such was her excitement for her only grandchild’s wedding. Elliott’s Mum told me she made the cake “but it wasn’t that good, she hadn’t made a cake for years”. Well, I think most professional bakers would have been impressed with it coming out of their kitchen! And then you had the table decorations and flowers made by Hannah’s Mum which were beautiful and suited the orangery at St Michael’s down to the ground.
This was a masterclass in DIY weddings done right!
Fabulous speeches including a clever one by Hannah’s Dad about the many journeys he’d driven Hannah on, a witty speech by Hannah’s Mum and a very emotional speech by Elliott’s Dad as well.
But more than that, at the centre of it, you had a couple that obviously suits each other so well, were so happy to be marrying and were surrounded by so much love. There was so much laughter surrounding these beautiful souls all day that it felt like being in a warm hug for the day.
I could not be happier for you Hannah & Elliott!
