Laughter filled St Albans family photography

Remember what really matters about their childhood…

Family photography at your favourite St Albans location

Are you looking for a relaxed and laughter-filled family photo shoot to capture your family as you are right now? The days are long, but the years are truly short so it’s great that you want to record these little moments that make up your world.

As a Mum myself, I know that your family are the centre of your world but sometimes you miss the small things among the daily chaos! The great news is that photos keep your memories sharp around the edges.

Do you worry about how a family photo session would go if your partner or kids aren’t cooperative? (This is the biggest concern I hear, you’re not alone!)

Fret not – with me photo sessions are super chilled out and we roll with the punches kids (or your big kid!) throw at us. We focus on you having fun together; I have a strict cheese free guarantee!

Plus, I’m told I’m a bit of a child whisperer – I’ve never met a kid I couldn’t win round yet…

You were somehow able to transform a dull, rainy day into a super-fun experience. The gorgeous pictures of us and our son are full of love and laughs and made us grin from ear to ear the moment we looked at them!

Family photography at your home

Are you a family of homebodies?

While some families love to be outdoors for their family photo sessions, others prefer to stay closer to home. If you are looking to have those early days with a newborn documented, are homebodies or are looking for photos in winter then I would definitely consider photos at your home.

I often get asked at photo shoots at home because families worry that their home isn’t big enough or light enough or it’ll just be too hard to tidy up before the shoot. None of those things could be further from the truth! Your home is perfect just the way it is; it’s where you make your family magic; it’s the patchwork of your lives together.

I know how to look for the best light (and all houses have it!), and if it’s big enough for you to live in then it’s big enough to take photos in. And I firmly believe in moments over mess.

I mean, I photograph my son in our mess all the time!
