Heart-warming family photography to remember what really matters about their childhood

Family photography on location

You were somehow able to transform a dull, rainy day into a super-fun experience. The gorgeous pictures of us and our son are full of love and laughs and made us grin from ear to ear the moment we looked at them!

ARE YOU LOOKING TO TELL YOUR FAMILY’S STORY THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS?

Are you looking for a family photographer in St Albans, Hertfordshire or further afield? I’m here to help you capture the magic moments in your family’s life that sometimes get forgotten in the midst of surviving the day to day! The days are long, but the years are truly short so it’s important to capture your wonderful family, exactly as you are.

I know that your family are the centre of your world. You want beautiful photos to capture how wonderful they are.

Do you also worry about making an investment in photos when the husband might not be into it, the kids might not behave and the weather might not cooperate?

This is why all photo sessions are chilled out and we roll with the punches kids throw at us. We focus on you together and you going about life with your family; no awkward cheese moments, guaranteed! Just your family and the love between you. And a tantrum or two, if that’s what life happens to deal you that day! I’m a total child whisperer – I’ve never met a kid I couldn’t win round yet…

I’m looking forward to being your family historian 🙂

Family photography at your home

Would you prefer your family photos taken at home?

While some families love to be outdoors for their family photo sessions, others prefer to stay closer to home. If you are looking to have those early days with a newborn documented, are homebodies or are looking for photos in winter then I would definitely consider photos at your home.

I often get asked at photo shoots at home because families worry that their home isn’t big enough or light enough or it’ll just be too hard to tidy up before the shoot. But none of those things are true! Your home is perfect just the way it is; it’s where you make your family magic, it’s the patchwork of your lives together. I am trained to look for the best light (and all houses have it!), and if it’s big enough for you to live in then it’s big enough to take photos in. And I firmly believe in moments over mess.

I mean, I photograph my son in our mess all the time 🙂
