Niki and Joe did not have a great time of it in the run up to their wedding. Although you’re seeing some wonderful Syon Park wedding photography now, it wasn’t always smooth sailing.
They had all the details of their wedding day planned out for a lovely wedding at Clandon Park when a few weeks before their wedding date, the massive fire ripping through the building, completely gutting it. When I saw this on the news, of course I thought of Niki and Joe and dropped them a message and suffice to say they were in a total panic.
As with a lot of things, this worked itself out in the most amazing way. Niki spent days ringing venues and of course with a date in the height of summer, everywhere was booked. They had originally looked at the stunning Syon Park but had decided it was out of their budget. However, they’d had a last-minute cancellation and offered their venue at the same price as Clandon Park.
Niki and Joe got their original dream venue at the last minute and everything worked out.
I went to get ready with the girls in the morning and was truly speechless when Niki got her dress out. She wanted to honour her Indian heritage so had her dress designer dye her dress a beautiful red and paired it with traditional choora; the bridal bangles. She looked so stunning and I know you’ll agree.
Their day was nothing short of spectacular with a ceremony in the Marble Hall and every other detail taken care of for their guests. They had a magician so guests enjoyed the drinks time. They had tonnes of hilarious props for the dance floor. Niki and Joe bought all their guests lottery tickets as favours hoping that one of their guests would win big, but I think being invited to this fabulous day was the winning ticket if I’m honest!
Take a look at the photos, you’ll see how fabulously fun it all was between the great day and crazy dance floor. And all with the backdrop of the stunning Syon Park conservatory.
