Hitchin lavender engagement shoot: Charlotte & Pete

Charlotte & Pete opted for a Hitchin lavender engagement shoot before their big day at one of the most beautiful Hertfordshire venues. They are getting married next year in one of the barns at Knebworth House which I’m really excited about.

Charlotte & Pete thought it would be cool to do their engagement photos at the local lavender farm. I cannot believe that I’ve never made it here in the years I’ve lived in Hertfordshire. Shame on me! So I’m super grateful that they introduced me to it; it’s so beautiful. Row after row of purple fringed with corn fields, sunflower fields and gorgeous rolling British countryside. I honestly felt like I was in a different world. And don’t even get me started on how good it smelt!

The weather wasn’t spectacular the day we went; the sky turned pitch black at one point but the rain held off and we had a great time strolling through the fields. Charlotte & Pete are so natural in front of the camera which always helps! And Pete makes Charlotte laugh frequently so we had a great time.

I cannot wait for the wedding and to hang out with this lovely couple again. If you fancy a shoot in the Hitchin lavender fields for your family or engagement session or are looking for a Hertfordshire wedding photographer then definitely get in touch, I’d love to chat!
