On Rach’s birthday a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited down to (what Rach claimed was) a little corner of paradise in the form of Staff’s family farm in Sussex. Rach & Staff had their hearts set on a bluebell engagement shoot and wow, it didn’t disappoint. The forests were seas of blue and just so pretty. Coupled with the bright blue skies, I have to admit Rach wasn’t telling a word of a lie.
Staff’s family actually run their farm as a gorgeous camping and glamping venue and I’d highly recommend a visit. I felt like I’d had a great holiday after just a few hours there!
Rach & Staff met at university while in Oxford and it’s clear to see why they are so great together – both funny, kind and sweet. Their wedding a few months later was a very relaxed wedding at the beautiful Blackstock Barn. I can’t believe I have to wait almost a whole year for the big day!
Take a look through their bluebell engagement shoot. I loved hanging out with Rach & Staff, their two loveable black labradors Blue and Alfie so much so I hope that comes across. They also very kindly let me bring my little pup China with me and two hours tearing round such an exciting place left her thoroughly worn out. I think her snores all the way home agree with me that there aren’t many places more wonderful to spend a morning.
If you fancy having an engagement shoot before your wedding to ensure you end up with happy and natural wedding photos with no awkward posing then let’s get planning!
