Celine and Stuart had a Beechwood Park School wedding reception after marrying at the lovely Tring Church on a stunning summer day.
I started the morning with Celine and her bridesmaid Jane, and her Mum and Dad. While Dad happily read the paper in the suntrap of their garden, her Mum Gerda was hugely busy hand making all of the button holes for the men. It was amazing watching her put them together and hand sew them all together – so talented!
Celine was so chilled all morning even slipping into her dress and beautiful nude shoes.
On to Tring Church and the reception
We headed off to the church in Tring where Stuart was a little more jittery waiting with his best man Stephen and his brother Andrew. But as soon as he spotted Celine wandering towards him a calm descended over him. They kept sneaking little looks and smiles at each other through the ceremony – love it!
The school was decorated with a vague Alice in Wonderland theme – mini brownie favours had Eat Me signs printed up and little bottles of sloe gin had Drink Me signs on them which I loved. The room was adorned with pom poms and there was a huge cake of cheese for desert.
After dinner and fabulous speeches the guests enjoyed outdoor games of petanque, croquet and there was some serious competition among the couple’s friends. It didn’t get any less crazy on the dance floor especially as Stuart’s friends were playing in the band and there were some serious dance moves going on.
So much happiness to you Stuart and Celine!
And if you’re getting married at Beechwood Park School or are looking for some happy, beautiful Hertfordshire wedding photography then I’d love to hear all about your day and let’s start planning your Hertfordshire wedding photography together!
Why choose Beechwood Park School?
While Beechwood Park School is not one of the better known venues in Hertfordshire because it only holds weddings during school holidays, it’s really lovely and definitely has the wow factor as you come up the long driveway. It has exclusive use and tonnes of flexibility as you get to bring your own suppliers and caterer so you can do your own thing, but great if you’re looking for a more traditional venue than a marquee or teepee wedding. Definitely worth a look!
