St Albans Register Office wedding: Amii & Craig

Love in the time of Covid eh? Amii & Craig planned to get married abroad and had to postpone twice before they eventually decided that they would tie the knot in a low-key St Albans register office wedding.

The restrictions were still pretty tight when they did get married and the register office would only allow 12 guests in so they had to decide between photos and guests. Understandably having their immediate family around them won out.

I met Craig & Amii just as they were coming out of their ceremony to take some lovely portraits of them as a newly married couple, plus some group shots with family, then bid them a fond farewell as they carried on to Luton Hoo for lunch (who also wouldn’t allow a photographer – what is going on at the moment?!)

It was a really lovely day and proved to me that you can have a fantastic time even when your day doesn’t pan out the way you’d initially dreamt it up.

I hope that Amii & Craig will get their big party overseas in the fullness of time, and fingers crossed they’ll consider taking me with them, but for now, they had this to say.

“Wow! They are amazing!!! Thanks so much, we love every single one!

All our guests said how nice you were & you made it all very relaxed and causal which is exactly what we wanted.

Can’t thank you enough for making our special day perfect!

Thank you for the lovely card in post with another sneak photo – very thoughtful!”
