I could not have loved Paddy & Tom’s Fanhams Hall wedding any more. I originally met Paddy & Tom when Heather & Rob recommended me to them. We hit it off immediately and my prediction that their wedding would be a riot wasn’t wrong! The evening was particularly fun when the Bhangra dancing kicked off and the guests went wild! Also was a big fan of the Cadbury’s purple theme colour coordinated confetti canon – Tom & Paddy had thought of everything!
Tom was nervous but had a flock of groomsmen (collective noun for groomsmen anyone?) to keep him calm and Paddy was being groomed herself to bridal perfection. All day their infectious laughs rang out around Fanhams and watching the affection they show for each other made me happier than ever that I do the job I do.
A ceremony in the Long Gallery
In their ceremony I captured the sweetest moment when they thought I wasn’t looking. I was just hiding behind one of their huge and beautiful floral arrangements and Tom and Paddy snuggled into each other in blissful contentment. It was pure perfection. You can see this moment in the gallery.
Their ceremony was held in the exceptionally beautiful Long Gallery which is a wood panelled room with huge windows at the two ends, that bath the marrying couple in light beautifully. It really is such a splendid space to marry in and you can feel the history seeping out of the walls here.
Why have a Fanhams Hall wedding?
Their wedding was at the stunning Fanhams Hall in Ware which has backdrops to make any photographer drool such as the quirky Japanese tea house and red bridge in the gardens.
But it’s not just the outside spaces that are amazing. The whole of this Jacobean property definitely has the wow factor. The Long Gallery, where Paddy and Tom had their ceremony and the Great Hall, where they had their reception, are like scenes from a movie. Plus Paddy had so much space to spread out in the enormous bridal suite.
The staff and team were amazing all day and the food was incredible so you’ll definitely be in great hands if you opt for a Fanhams Hall wedding.
