Kimberley & Anthony had a civil ceremony followed by Surrey marquee wedding at the the beautiful Clandon Park near Guildford. Clandon Park is a National Trust property dating back to the 18th century. It really is a stunning property, flanked with Palladian columns which makes it really breath-taking to approach. Sadly, it’s probably now most well-known for the major fire that devastated the building in 2015.

Their day suited the venue perfectly; elegant and classic.  The ceremony took place in the staggeringly beautiful Marble Hall with drinks in the lovely gardens and the reception held in the marquee. All of it was planned to perfection.

The grey, yellow and purple colours that Kimberley had chosen were absolutely stunning (including the lace decorated cake which matched the lace on Kimberley’s custom made dress – honestly, no detail was too much for this bride!)

There was also much tradition woven through the day – Kimberley’s Dad wore the kilt he himself had got married in, Kimberley had asked for herbs in her bouquet (and even taught me that this is where the wedding bouquet came from!) but nicest of all… Anthony was wearing a pair of shoes he’d only worn once before; the day he got together with Kimberley.  Love it!

The speeches were hilarious, including the best man’s speech by Luke, Anthony’s cousin. And then the dance floor absolutely kicked off.

It was a day so filled with love. Not only between the bride and groom, but between the couple and their families and all their friends. You could just feel it in the air.

Anthony is whipping Kimberley away on a surprise honeymoon the morning after the wedding and he’s the only one who knows where they are going, so I hope you have the most incredible time!
