1. Rustic barn style wedding
If you’re dreaming of a rustic barn style wedding then this exclusive use venue will be perfect for you. The Tudor Barn which can seat up to 146 for either ceremony or wedding breakfast is a beautiful space and has a typical barn vibe. It’s attached to the Horse Barn where the evening festivities take place. In sharp contrast the Old Dairy is another barn area seating 100 for a ceremony in a beautiful beamed, sun drenched space.
2. Five ceremony space options
There are five areas licensed for wedding ceremonies at South Farm which means that all ceremony sizes and styles can be catered for. The largest indoor area is the Tudor Barn which seats 146 and the smallest is the Drawing Room in the main house for intimate ceremonies of up to 35 people. In between you have The Horse Barn (65 people) and the Old Dairy (100 people). The beautiful outdoor option of the Main Lawn / Summer House also seat up to 146.
3. Outdoor ceremonies
I’m a big fan of getting married outdoors so love wedding venues where you can opt for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. On a dry day there is something wonderfully romantic about tying the knot outdoors isn’t there? As mentioned above your guests can be seated around the Summer House on the main lawn and enjoy the wonderful outside space that South Farm offers.
4. Great outdoor space for wedding photos
The grounds at South Farm are really pretty and well maintained giving you ample opportunity to take photos outdoors. There is so much variety in the grounds, as well with the quirky romany caravans, the long drive, wild flowers, the beautiful house itself to use as backdrops. You can end up with a really varied gallery of photos without a lot of walking or time away from your guests.
5. Exclusive use
South Farm is an exclusive use wedding venue so you’ll have the whole site to yourself and can use all the accommodation. No risk of bumping into strangers for the duration of your stay! You’ll have the full care of the attentive staff for the entirety of your wedding celebration.
