We had such a great time with Tori and the photos are absolutely beautiful. We’re not the most comfortable on camera but the advance tips & questionnaire helped us relax and helped Tori to get exactly the photos we wanted from the shoot with our baby. They really capture this new phase in our lives and the journey we’ve all been on together in the last few months. We’ll treasure the photos forever & we’ll look forward to doing it all again when he’s a bit bigger! We’d recommend Tori to anyone who wants to feel relaxed and happy while getting beautiful photos with their family.
I felt so lucky to have just had my second homebirth with my third child. The house was chaotic when Tori arrived – birth pool semi-deflated in the kitchen and the sofa bed out in the lounge so we didn’t wake the older two in the night. I was still in my nightie and hadn’t yet had the opportunity to shower, the children were in their pyjamas with bed-hair and we definitely didn’t think to offer a cup of tea! But she was totally relaxed about it all, didn’t stay long, didn’t ask anything of us – just snapped a few pictures as the five of us lounged around in our newborn bubble. I was amazed by what she was able to capture with such ease and little equipment, without any of us posing or even getting out of bed. A baby is such a little gift, and the moments fly by too quickly, I don’t think you could ever regret having them beautifully documented, exactly as they were, and Tori did that to perfection.
I booked a family photo shoot when my daughter was 5months old. It was a pretty cold autumn day and we had booked our shoot outside so that we could use the lovely autumn colours as a backdrop. Tori was great at getting the best out of all of us and really read the situation well with a little one taking centre stage. She was kind, patient and ultimately took some great photos of all of us. We absolutely love them!
Tori has provided us with some once in a lifetime photos of our new born. The shoot itself was comfortable and enjoyable; you barely noticed her snapping away. And the photos are just fantastic. I would encourage anyone to use Tori to get photos that you will cherish forever.
Tori took photos of our family when our son was just 2 months old and they are gorgeous! I’ve never had professional family photos done and it was such a treat. She is so skilled at finding the right light and capturing really joyful candid moments. I loved both her portraits and candids of us. She also works really quickly so that there’s no worries about whether the baby will lose his cool or not. Tori is wonderful and I highly recommend her!!
We booked a maternity shoot with Tori as a way to document this milestone before our little one arrived. I don’t enjoy being in front of the camera and always feel super awkward but Tori made the session fun and I felt relaxed and not at all goofy in front of the camera. The result, beautiful shots of my partner and me that now take pride of place on our wall at home.
We recently had a family photo session with Tori at our home. Tori was great prior to the session – both really friendly and very flexible (we changed the date last minute) – as well as on the day. On the day she arrived and slotted into playing with my toddler and chatting to us adults. I was barely aware of her taking photos, as her style is so unobtrusive, and the result is a lovely set of photos which give an honest account of life at home. We will look back at them fondly – thanks Tori!
We asked Tori to take some photos of us with our 8 month old and our families following our son’s dedication. Tori did a fantastic job! She captured our cheeky, smiley boy brilliantly and took beautiful pictures of the whole group as well as our various family members in smaller groups. Various family members, myself included, don’t particularly enjoy having our photo taken, but you wouldn’t know it – we look relaxed and natural. Thank you Tori for beautifully capturing what was a very special day for us.
We are SO happy with the photos of our son’s Christening. Tori captured the day perfectly and managed to get some fantastic pictures of the family – not that easy with lots of children involved! She also helped us create albums which we gave to grandparents who were delighted to have a beautiful keepsake. Tori is warm, professional and discreet. She is great at taking both formal and in the moment shots. Tori has worked with our whole family for years and we would highly recommend her.
We were in such a whirlwind when you came to the hospital and not feeling our most beautiful in our sleep deprived states so weren’t sure how we would feel about the photos. However, it has been so precious to have these images to look back on such a brief but important part of our journey becoming a family that all seemed to happen in a bit of a blur. If you are looking for a family photographer then you need not look any further! The first time we met Tori we were looking for a wedding photographer. We instantly clicked and she got the job! She captured our special day so perfectly that within 18 months we met up again for her to take photos of our baby daughter. The many photos she has taken have pride of place around our home and we wouldn’t consider looking for anyone else to take family photos. We have been lucky enough to have Tori photograph us for 3 years. She did our bump shoot during pregnancy through to age 2 family portraits. She takes shots I would never think of and they are fantastic! With a young son, I’m always taking photos with my phone but Tori manages to capture these every-day moments that become treasured photos. I’m grateful to have these to look back on. Thank you Tori!
