Great Fosters wedding photographer: Ellie & Johnathan
I loved, loved, loved Ellie & Johnathan’s wedding day at Great Fosters in Surrey. I’m so honoured that they picked me to be their Great Fosters wedding photographer. I met Ellie a while back at a wedding show and in the meantime have photographed Ellie’s sister’s wedding also.
Ellie & Jonathan’s wedding was just amazing in every way. The sun shone down on them (despite some early worries about rain) and actually it ended up stinking hot! Ellie was wearing a dress that couldn’t have suited her more; a romantic Grecian feel to the flowing fabric. Johnathan had his suit tailored to him and I loved the orange touches.
The bride and groom said their vows outdoors under an arch of flowers. I’d never seen one before but it looked gorgeous. We then spent some time strolling around the grounds of the venue. It’d be easy to take photos there for hours in the gorgeous gardens.
Ellie’s Mum made the main speech and did a great job, followed by the groom and best man. Cracking speeches all round! I also adored the styling in the Great Hall. All oranges and reds with the chillis tied round the napkins; love it!
Dancing got a little crazy after the cutting of the Choccywoccydoodah cake. Everyone let loose! The roulette and blackjack tables were getting some fairly heavy usage too. All in all it was a fab evening. After stealing Ellie & Jonathan away for a quick nighttime shot I left them to the dancing.
I’ve posted a few more details shots than normal – what do you think? Like seeing the styling of the day or prefer the people shots?
