You probably aren’t used to being in front of a camera and feel nervous at the thought of having your photo taken. An engagement shoot is a great idea to get the nerves out of the way before your wedding day.Â

The Benefits of having an engagement shoot
1. Relax before the big day
It’s not something that most of us have done before, so why not have a test drive? Would you buy that Tesla without seeing if you like it?!
2. Take a little couple time
In the run up to the big day you’ll have a tonne of wedmin to do. Why not have a fun time out and do something just for the two of you, together? Some people also combine it with a hair or makeup trial to see how they look on camera – win, win!
3. Get to know your photographer better
A better relationship between us gives you more relaxed wedding day photos. It’s critical to build up a good rapport and build trust. Plus it’s fun to go for a little pre-shoot and maybe a cheeky drink!
4. It’s a cause for celebration!
You should have lovely photos to shout to the world that you’re engaged. This is a big deal, shout about it loud and proud 🙂
5. You get great photos
This isn’t a selfie. These are great photos that you’ll love and can use for save the dates, wedding websites, signing boards or just hanging round the house. What’s not to love about that?
