Beach family photographer: The Haywood family

I am so excited to have a chance to work as a beach family photographer for the Haywood family.  But backing up a few years ago I travelled out to Abersoch to photograph Helen & Ed’s super fun tipi wedding. That was such a lovely day and they pulled off a gorgeous wedding despite massive weather worries beforehand (we’re talking tipi falling down worries rather than a rain shower on the day worries!).

Fast forward and they are now a family of three, being joined by little Thea. Technically they actually are now a family of four with the addition of a son too – I did say I was rather behind on the blogging!!

I really like spending time in Abersoch.  The sandy beach is long and clean.  The people are super friendly.  It’s such a nice little village to have a stroll around.  The weather isn’t always brilliant but you can’t help but feel happy when you are that close to the seaside.  And it’s always a pleasure to see Helen, Ed and the other friends I have down there.

We went to hang out at Helen and Ed’s beach hut.  What a great life – all their stuff is there and they can just go and spend time right on the beach.  I left feeling rather envious to be honest!

After lots of digging in the sand, we strolled along the beach for a bit.  Thea had just learnt to jump so was spending a lot of time perfecting her craft!  And then Helen and I had a good laugh as Thea stole Ed’s entire ice cream. Ed was slightly less impressed.

Happy times 🙂  If you get chance, definitely head to Abersoch for a visit. This is how working with

This is how a family photoshoot with me works and taking me on holiday just adds on a bit of travel. I’d love to take more photos on the seaside for you, so if you live near one and are looking for a beach family photographer, please do get in touch.
