Syon Park wedding photographer: Niki & Joe
I was so thrilled when Niki & Joe picked me as their Syon Park wedding photographer as I felt we’d got on immediately. If you read about their pre-wedding shoot in Brighton then you’ll know that originally they weren’t having a Syon Park wedding at all. Their wedding was booked for Clandon Park, which unfortunately burnt down a few months before the big day. I thought it was serendipity when Syon Park had a cancellation for their date.
The day started with the girls at Niki & Joe’s flat. The atmosphere was unusually calm. I don’t really ask brides what their dresses are like (come on, I like a surprise too!) and boy was I surprised when Niki unveiled her bespoke red lace gown. When I saw it it seemed like the most natural thing in the world that she’d have opted for a red gown in a nod to her Indian heritage. I loved her accessories which were all red, including the Choora (wedding bangles). Niki looked like a million dollars!
I met Joe & the boys at the stunning Syon House where the sun was shining down. Joe seemed suitably nervous but hanging round with the boys and his Mum seemed to settle his nerves!
After a lovely ceremony and drinks reception the guests made their way to the conservatory. If you’ve never visited, I’d highly recommend it, it’s the most stunning of venues. Niki & Joe’s decorations were beautifully understated which only set off the surroundings more.
The speeches were great and then the partying really began. Niki & Joe’s friends and family took to the dancefloor like nothing I’ve ever seen. It was so fun watching them all use the photobooth, do dance-offs and sing along with great gusto! I left them to it at some point in the evening but I have a feeling that party raged on long into the night!
If you’re looking for a Syon Park wedding photographer, I’d love to chat.
