St Albans family photographer: The Hossack family

I love my job as a St Albans family photographer as it means spending time with lovely people like the Hossacks. I met up with Emma, Brett and their two gorgeous girls early one weekend morning recently. The weather wasn’t really in our favour in that it was a little bit grey and wintry, but it didn’t slow these two little livewires down at all.

We spent some time together at some local woodland in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The morning consisted of playing in the last remnants of the autumn leaves, finding Mr Stickman and his family, seeing who could swing the highest and enjoying some family cuddles (them not me!).

I love hanging out with families and watching them relax in front of the camera. Jessica, the younger daughter was really unsure about the camera at first and by the end was keeping up with Sienna with her grins for me. It’s so satisfying to know that you can capture a family just being themselves and having fun.
