Hertfordshire family photography
What a pleasure this family was to photograph! They found me completely by luck. Another of my Hertfordshire family photography clients had recommended me to a friend. She wanted to buy a gift voucher for her sister and family for Christmas. And that’s how I got lucky enough to photograph these four wonderful people!
Zach and Seb are two of the most delightful, polite, fun little boys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They obviously get on like a house on fire too. The whole shoot was just so fun!
We met up just outside St Albans and let the boys run themselves ragged. Being a Mum to a young boy myself I could see my future playing out in front of my eyes… Mum and Dad didn’t get a minute to rest! They were running here, there and everywhere! One would ask to be swung or thrown and the other would want the same. There were kisses and hugs a plenty. Tickling ruled the day. Then there was a session of hair licking before Dad worked out what Zach was up to while on his shoulders.
It was one of my favourite types of photo shoots; dynamic and exhausting. I went home smiling happily at what a fun family I’d been lucky enough to meet.
And Nicole is a lady after my own heart. She believes in printing and framing her photos rather than having them on screen. So we got a family photo blown up onto a big canvas for her wall of canvases of their family. Feel so happy knowing that they’ll be enjoying that photo for many years to come.
